On November 4th this year, our Company signed the contract: “Increasing the energy efficiency of the building of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Institute of Oncology – National Research Institute in Warsaw”.
The subject contract will be executed in three stages in the “design and build” system. Its scope includes the execution of construction design, executive designs, construction and industry-specific works and the final energy ex-post audit.
One of the specialties of ERBUD Operations are thermo-modernization works of hospital facilities in the “design-build” system with the use of renewable energy sources technology (with the application of photovoltaic, solar installations, heat pumps and cogeneration/trigeneration systems)
In previous years our company has implemented thermo-modernization works (design-build) for the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw and design works for the Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology in Warsaw. At present ERBUD Operations is also implementing thermomodernization works in the design-build system for the Ludwik Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Cracow (with 17 storeys, 65,799 m2 of usable area), where the subject of thermomodernization is, among others, replacement of 20,130 m2 of facade (along with removal and disposal of asbestos cladding) and replacement of 7,580 m2 of window woodwork.
